In my view, "Hot Rods: Young & Hung II" is not thematically a follow-up to "The Young & the Hung" (1985). If anything, "Hot Rods: Young & Hung II" (1986) is closer to "Big Guns" (1987), both directed by Higgins. Nonetheless, it is safe to call this another William Higgins classic.
"Hot Rods: Young & Hung II" may best be remembered for its opening three-way between Jeff Quinn, Mike Henson and bodybuilder Rocky Armano. This manly trio decides to play a survival game in the woods -- and they agree that the loser must be stripped naked and tied up. Rocky loses and is indeed shackled bare-assed to a tree. Later that night by a campfire, he teases the other two by slowly stripping down to his shorts. Talking about his killer ass, he lowers those skivvies until his bum is revealed. Jeff and Mike can't resist and take turns on both sides of his cheeks, until Mike takes Rocky's dick into his mouth. Jeff, in turn, takes Mike in his throat, and after a few minutes has a seat on his erection. Jeff bobs up and down, and then Mike stands and gets a bonus treat. Rocky bends over and lets Mike top him, and Rocky's ass is one meaty and tight booty. The insertion sequence is vivid, as is the unexpected sight of Rocky offering his buns to his co-star. By the heat of the fire, these three fill each other to the hilt. Rocky gets on his back so that Jeff can screw him, and once they have commenced, Mike moves behind Jeff and stuffs his ass as well. Minutes pass, and Mike moves forward to boink Rocky, just before Jeff moves behind and completes the second chain-fuck. Both Jeff and Mike give just as well as they take, their butts are just as energetic as their poles. They spew their cream, but the scene is far from over. Eyeing Rocky's stiff dick, Mike sits on it, while Jeff positions his smooth butt all over Rocky's face. As Rocky fucks, he also rims ass. As they did earlier, Jeff and Mike then change positions, so that Jeff now sits on Rocky's lap. Their subsequent cum-shots splash all over the place, including Rocky's, who pulls out and wets Jeff's butt with the force of his orgasm, helping make this one of my favorite three-ways in the history of gay porn.
Later, Mike Henson is told by his friend John Davenport about a mystery at his mechanical garage. Condoms have been clogging up the bathroom toilet, and no one knows how the condoms have wound up there -- yet. One night, Southern-drawled Jason Lowe asks attendant John about his car, then asks for the bathroom's location. Jason goes there, pees, and notices the condom machine. He buys one, then slips into a stall and horses around with the latex. Bringing out a sizable dick, Jason begins to play with himself, pumping forcibly. What he doesn't know is that John has a hidden camera that monitors the bathroom, so he can see Jason stroking away. John, watching the monitor, gets excited and pulls out his cock, too. He seems to near climax as Jason does. Jason's horniness prompts him to move his hand towards his hole and rub against it until he, and John, have blown their wads. Jason puts his clothes back on and passes John as he nervously leaves the building.
As Jeff Quinn readies for bed one evening, he gets a knock at his door. It is friend Vinnie Marino, who has had an argument with his lady friend. Jeff offers to let him spend the night. Vinnie agrees, but needs to pump some iron before he retires. After he had done so, he strips to his skivvies on the bed next to Jeff. Jeff resists for a few moments, but then hesitantly moves a hand to his pal's thighs. Seeing that Vinnie is asleep, Jeff goes a step farther, pulling Vinnie's shorts down. Jeff clamps his mouth on Vinnie's hairless hole and licks the opening. Of course, Vinnie wakes up and sticks his bum in the air, savoring the oral attention. This is a trade-y scene, but Jeff takes obvious delight in pleasing his friend. After a thorough butt-munching, Jeff gags on Vinnie's hard dick, letting Vinnie face-fuck him. Then Vinnie places Jeff on his back, legs high, and pierces his butthole with his meat. Vinnie doesn't show his friend any mercy, drilling in until his balls are knocking on Jeff's flesh. A terrific fuck, Vinnie plugs away until he has coaxed thick cream from himself and Jeff.
Another of Mike's friends, Eric Radford, is told about a certain exhibitionist who performs in front of his window at night. Radford checks out the action, and spies on kinky Allan Fox as he reclines in front of his window, his hands tied up, looking very submissive. Eric walks in and climbs on the bed, slapping Allan's ass and promising to pound him. They struggle for a moment, before Eric begins to fellate the exhibitionist. Suddenly, there is a shift in power, as Allan breaks free. When he does, he cuffs visitor Eric and has his way with him. They go at it in three positions, Eric bottoming each time, initially taking a bone up him doggy. The second time they hump, Eric, on the bed, his legs over the bedpost, lets Allan slide into his chute, then he literally jumps into Allan's lap onto his stick. When they have climaxed, it becomes clear that this is a game between the two. They even discuss changing roles next time.
The finale is the controversial lazy Susan six-way scene that was banned in the U.S. and many other countries in 1986. Along with the rest of this feature, it's now been digitally restored. The scene finds Kevin Williams pulling into the garage for a broken headlight; when he realizes the repair will only take 45 minutes he decides to wait in his car. There, he dozes off and has a fantasy. In his scenario, the blond Kevin is stripped naked before a group of leathermen, including Rex and J.T. Denver, who marvel at his fetching smooth ass. The group makes Kevin lick their boots, they string a row of beads in and out of his behind, and also pull out a dildo that they use in Kevin fore-and-aft. As Kevin spins around the room like a clock, he is used by the men. The action often gets rough but Kevin appears to be ready for action. As his legs are held down, Kevin's butt sinks on the dildo, then he is drilled hard by a few of the men with the real thing. Near the end, Kevin lets two of them give him a raw fuck as well at the same time. The men eventually hover around Kevin and spray their juice. When Kevin wakes up, his car is ready, and the head mechanic gives him the repair -- on the house.
That scene might not be as outrageous now as it was when "Hot Rods: Young & Hung II" was originally released, but it retains it heat. Along with the opening menage-a-trois, it's an undisputed highlight in another of William Higgins' wonders.
