Indulge Part 1 (DVD)

It seems that little can prevent the reputation of this great magazine from proceeding well beyond the limits of its glossy cover. Quite unexpectedly, this magazine, Indulge, has exploded out into the exciting venue of adult gay video. Produced independently by Forum Studios, Indulge (the movie) takes a glimpse into the private lives behind the pages of this spectacular, well-crafted and humble magazine.

All reality aside, Indulge (the movie) portrays the story of an editor (that's me) and his randy crew as they work late into the evening to get out one more important issue of Indulge to you, the adoring public. At this point, it might be possible for me to completely shatter any of the fantasies implicit in this portrayal, but I won't. It should be sufficient enough to say that I (and everyone here at the magazine) enjoyed seeing our daily grind depicted in such a Hollywoodesque manner. Now, with that said, on to the story.

The movie opens with the hardworking and underappreciated editor of Indulge magazine (played by Tony Cummings) sitting behind his desk, having a phone conversation with incredibly well hung Indulge photographer Cole Youngblood. Let me just say that Tony Cummings is a great choice for the important and challenging role of the magazine editor. He's young, beautiful and slender, and it is these enviable attributes that make him perfect for the role that so many porn actors aspire to be worthy of.

The first sex scene involves hunky Cole Youngblood photographing lanky, blond Steve O'Donnell. When the shoot is over, Steve decides that the hard-on he's sporting could be put to good use. However, like all gay skin mag photographers, Cole resists Steve's seductions on the basis of professionalism, and like most photographers, he quickly gives in anyway and the two of them go at it like two virgins in a boarding school.

The realism of this vignette is firmly rooted around the immense size of Cole's throbbing cock. If there is any truth and power in this scene (and there is), it is the power exuded by what stands between Cole's muscular legs. Every model should be so lucky as to have the opportunity to work with a man like Cole. It is no wonder that Steve falls to his knees before this icon and soon spreads his legs, begging to be split open by Cole's ultimate artistic expression. Cole's cum shot is simply awe inspiring and the result on the viewer is nothing short of aesthetic arrest.

In the second scene, super hunk Tony Piagi (our cover model) makes a call to Indulge to tell everyone there just how much he appreciates their work. To extend the compliment, he orders a subscription for our other high quality publication, In Touch. It's at this point that Tony's exotic boyfriend, Marcelo Reeves, who happens to be on the bed next to him, gets jealous of Tony's interest in skin mags. So, basically, Tony has to patch up Marcelo's fragile ego by kissing him, holding him, sucking his cock and, you know, stuff like that. I won't go into to too much detail in order to avoid spoiling the majesty of this particular scene for you, but as Indulge's real editor, I must commend handsome director Sam Abdul for representing you, our devoted readers, so well.

Finally, my big moment arrives! In the next sex scene, the editor (that's me), played by Tony Cummings, is visited by his fucking amazing Latino boyfriend Max Grand. This scene is as incredible as the men that enact it and is almost as incredible as the true story it attempts to portray. After the two of them discuss dinner plans, Max convinces Tony to "eat in." And that just what Tony does as he sucks down all of Max's thick cock. However, it is when Tony straddles Max and rides his hot cock up and down that the true talents of a magazine editor can be seen.

In the final scene, the art director (played by David Thompson) and a staff writer (played by Paul Carrigan) get together after having worked side by side for several months. When they do finally toss their professional relationship aside, the graphic pens fly as they engage in unbridled man-pounding. This last scene is exceptionally steamy because the sex depicted is so masculine and versatile.

This video can be commended for many of its aspects. First, it's all about me. Second, it makes me look really good. Third, it will make everybody who sees it want to sleep with me. Sam Abdul should also be commended for not only knowing a good story when he sees one but for also combining actors in a manner which shows off each of their assets and provides an aesthetically pleasing contrast for the viewer. I say this because each scene consists of a pairing of one cut and one uncut cock, and I think this makes for a great picture. So, in general, this is a video with a wide range of appealing features. It has something for everyone and will undoubtedly bring a smile to your face and a milky stain to your underwear. It is for this reason, above all reasons, that Indulge is an important film which needs to be seen.
